- One Finger
Placing a finger on the proper position.
- The tip of a finger must be on about 1cm apart from the t op of the glass surface as figure 1- 1 [ A] . And t he finger and it s first part of knuckle should be positioned in t he center of an illuminated surface as figure 1- 1 [ B] .
Capturing a good quality image of fingerprint.
- The entire fingerprint must be displayed in the center of a block.
- There should be a good enough pressure when the finger is on a sensor.
- Do not place the finger in vertical upright position.
- Dry finger has a tendency of capturing the low quality im age; therefore please softly press the finger as figure [ B] . Do not give too much pressure.
- Moisturizing or blowing warm breath over enrolling finger before input will also be helpful t o get in good quality as figure [ C] .

Placing the two fingers on a proper position
- Do not stick t wo fingers one another.
- Do not place the fingers at t he edges of a glass surface as figure 2 - 1.
Capturing a good quality image of fingerprint
- Entire fingerprint must be positioned in the center of a sensor surface.
- Dry finger has a tendency of capturing the low quality image; therefore please softly press the finger. Do not give too much pressure.
- Moisturizing or blowing warm breath over enrolling finger before input will also be helpful t o get in good quality.

- Trouble Shooting
- When enrolling fingerprint s, please keep the guideline wit h extra care as it m ay affect recognition performance in later use.
- Wipe excessive moisture or stain from fingers before input .
- If false rejection persists on a certain fingerprint, either delete t he enrolled fingerprint and re- enroll it or try wit h another finger in case t he finger has a cut , scar, or worn- out ridges.
